MEDITATION

MEDITATION Psalm 1:1-6 Devotional:- “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night..” (v.2) NKJV      God’s word describes someone blessed because he/she meditates on the word of God, day and night. How can this be? The word of God is the source of inspiration that strengthens us to perform (John 1:1-3). The Bible told us that God is a spirit; therefore, meditating on the word of God is drawing on the strength of the spirit (John 6:63).

PURPOSE OF RELATIONSHIP

PURPOSE OF RELATIONSHIP

And the Lord God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him" (V. 18)

God who is the author of relationship observed a missing factor after creating man. He saw that man need another creature to compliment him. That is what relationship does for us. No man or woman will be at his or her best without the impute of the other. The enemy of man often suggests to us that we should only be self-focused. But it will be a total regret when someone refuses to exploit the opportunity of relationship with others.

The word of God says that, God Himself observed that it is not good that the man should be alone. To be alone is to lack the right person to confide in. To be alone is to be afraid to open up to people who can assist us. Anytime the devil wants to destroy anyone, he will encourage him to withdraw from others. When a man begins to withdraw from others, it is for his own ruin. God made us to be a help, a complement or a support for each other to succeed. We are not going to be at our best avoiding people.

Each of us must pray to have the right people or partner who can complement our lives. The dream of God for our lives is too big for what we can handle alone. One of the good gifts we can receive is the gift of right people to be with us. But the best gift is to be a companion to people around you. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to lack your gift of good companion.

"WITHOUT PEOPLE AROUND YOU, YOU CANNOT BE AT YOUR BEST"
