HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. If you only serve when it is convenient, then you are not a good servant (2 Timothy 2:4). Real servants pay attention to needs, always lo...

UNITY

UNITY

Psalms 133:1-3
Devotional:- “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!” (V. 1)

Every attempt should be made to maintain unity in every good relationship. Please know that unity is not uniformity but oneness in understanding and focus. God made us in a variety. So, we should not see uniformity as unity. Our variation must be appreciated. That variety makes the world worth living, the same thing in your home. That is why it takes much maturity to attain unity and not hindering people’s peculiarity.

The word of God says, it is a good and pleasant thing when we can attain unity in our relationship. It in turn becomes a place where the anointing of God can flow from the head to the garment. It is in the place of unity that God can place His blessings. To attain unity, we must be of good understanding with each other. We must understand the place of our differences in creation. We must appreciate our differences, then; we must place importance and our labour of unity in the maturity of each other.

The foundation of maturity is when we individually sacrifice our self as a living sacrifice unto God (Romans 12:1-2). No more living for self but for God. Thereby ready to do the will of God from the heart. Then we can communicate our vision with wisdom to each other. And God will help us to be able to walk together. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let there be grace of unity in my home.

“UNITY CAN ONLY BE ATTAINED BY THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT”
