  BORN TO WIN 1 John 5:1-5 Devotional:- “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith.” (V. 4) NKJV God is great, mighty and victorious. No one can challenge His power and authority. They’ve not given birth to the devil that can face God. He has on several occasions given the devil a public disgrace (Colossians 3:15). When God created man, He expected him to cheaply overcome the enemy. But the first man fell into the devil’s trick. Because God cannot fail, He did not create a second Adam but gave birth to Him. There is power in this. He discovered that the first Adam did not perfectly resemble Him in strength and power. So He decided to give birth to the second Adam, in the person of Jesus. So He is referred to as the firstborn among the living. God has not born anyone before Him. Whatever you give birth to will carry your strength. COMMITMENT

Romans 12:9-21
“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another” (V. 10)

    Most people want good home but do not want to pay the price for it. One of the major prices for a good relationship is commitment to each other. The parties must all embrace the spirit of commitment. Everyone is committed in one place or the other. If a man or woman is not committed to his or her spouse, he/she is committed to someone else somewhere. It is therefore very important for each member to be committed to each other.

The word of God says, we should be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love. This we should do by honouring and preferring each other. For couples to be committed to each other, they must put themselves in mind always. The man should not put away the thought of the woman, while the woman should not also. They should always remember to share and care for one another no matter the distance. They should set their attention on one another. Not that we will not have time for other things but relationship should not also be neglected.

Friend, we should be so committed to each other that we should know where the other person is and what he is likely doing at a particular time. The same is the church of God. The Royal law is love first (James 2:8). Do not only be committed to your children, be committed to your spouse and also to your church. That is the way to get the best of relationship. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the spirit of commitment to my relationship.

“UNCOMMITTED MEMBER IS A BURDEN AND NOT A BLESSING”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
