  JOY IN PRAYERS I Samuel 2:1-10 Devotional:- “And Hannah prayed and said: "My heart rejoices in the LORD; My horn is exalted in the LORD. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation.” (V. 1) NKJV We often fall into depression when we look around us, and all we see are unanswered prayers. It becomes worse when you are despised and mocked for that thing that you are looking up to God for. Hannah was like that, a depressed and unhappy woman. What was Hannah’s secret that made her proclaim to all that “my heart rejoices in the Lord”? 1. She decided to look away from her oppressor 2. She went to God in prayer, pouring her sorrow to God.  3. She made a vow to give God the child 4. She left the presence of God, believing God answers prayer. Hannah made good her vow, and her joy was full. Are you depressed? Pour your heart to God, make a vow to him, and you will see him answer your prayers and your joy will Come. COMMITMENT

Romans 12:9-21
“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another” (V. 10)

    Most people want good home but do not want to pay the price for it. One of the major prices for a good relationship is commitment to each other. The parties must all embrace the spirit of commitment. Everyone is committed in one place or the other. If a man or woman is not committed to his or her spouse, he/she is committed to someone else somewhere. It is therefore very important for each member to be committed to each other.

The word of God says, we should be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love. This we should do by honouring and preferring each other. For couples to be committed to each other, they must put themselves in mind always. The man should not put away the thought of the woman, while the woman should not also. They should always remember to share and care for one another no matter the distance. They should set their attention on one another. Not that we will not have time for other things but relationship should not also be neglected.

Friend, we should be so committed to each other that we should know where the other person is and what he is likely doing at a particular time. The same is the church of God. The Royal law is love first (James 2:8). Do not only be committed to your children, be committed to your spouse and also to your church. That is the way to get the best of relationship. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the spirit of commitment to my relationship.

“UNCOMMITTED MEMBER IS A BURDEN AND NOT A BLESSING”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
