  GREAT HOME John 14:1-6 Devotional:- “In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you” (V. 2) NKJV At creation, God created man into a paradise made for his eternal pleasure. God did not intend that the human race would ever live in suffering. Man was made to enjoy the best of mental exertion for a beautiful outfit. Man was to live forever in the paradise of God. But the devil cunningly deceived man, which made God chase man out of the paradise. Since then, the life of man has been terrible and most miserable. That is why when people have everything they need in this world, they will still discover that they are not fully satisfy. There is no place we can live that will fully satisfy us. This is a factor and the fact that something in us is still looking for something somewhere better than this world. In search of this, some people try to go to the moon and other planets. COMMITMENT

Romans 12:9-21
“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another” (V. 10)

    Most people want good home but do not want to pay the price for it. One of the major prices for a good relationship is commitment to each other. The parties must all embrace the spirit of commitment. Everyone is committed in one place or the other. If a man or woman is not committed to his or her spouse, he/she is committed to someone else somewhere. It is therefore very important for each member to be committed to each other.

The word of God says, we should be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love. This we should do by honouring and preferring each other. For couples to be committed to each other, they must put themselves in mind always. The man should not put away the thought of the woman, while the woman should not also. They should always remember to share and care for one another no matter the distance. They should set their attention on one another. Not that we will not have time for other things but relationship should not also be neglected.

Friend, we should be so committed to each other that we should know where the other person is and what he is likely doing at a particular time. The same is the church of God. The Royal law is love first (James 2:8). Do not only be committed to your children, be committed to your spouse and also to your church. That is the way to get the best of relationship. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the spirit of commitment to my relationship.

“UNCOMMITTED MEMBER IS A BURDEN AND NOT A BLESSING”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
