  MEEKNESS Numbers 12:1-10 Devotional:- “(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)” (v.3) NKJV A great virtue that will help a man sustain a life of joy is meekness. This is an act of being gentle and ready to accept instructions and corrections. This is an act of not being willing to struggle with God but to easily submit to His will. Jesus said this kind of people will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). This is because they will always be willing to take instruction and correction. Sometimes correction or discipline of love could be harsh or strong, but a meek person has the fortitude to bear it and rejoice at it because he knows that such will always get him better and stronger. The meek are willing to wait to receive the help of God. He is simple when it comes to accepting the will of God. To him, God is always good, which makes him ever thankful and joyful. COMMITMENT

Romans 12:9-21
“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another” (V. 10)

    Most people want good home but do not want to pay the price for it. One of the major prices for a good relationship is commitment to each other. The parties must all embrace the spirit of commitment. Everyone is committed in one place or the other. If a man or woman is not committed to his or her spouse, he/she is committed to someone else somewhere. It is therefore very important for each member to be committed to each other.

The word of God says, we should be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love. This we should do by honouring and preferring each other. For couples to be committed to each other, they must put themselves in mind always. The man should not put away the thought of the woman, while the woman should not also. They should always remember to share and care for one another no matter the distance. They should set their attention on one another. Not that we will not have time for other things but relationship should not also be neglected.

Friend, we should be so committed to each other that we should know where the other person is and what he is likely doing at a particular time. The same is the church of God. The Royal law is love first (James 2:8). Do not only be committed to your children, be committed to your spouse and also to your church. That is the way to get the best of relationship. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the spirit of commitment to my relationship.

“UNCOMMITTED MEMBER IS A BURDEN AND NOT A BLESSING”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
