TRANSFORMED BY TROUBLE 2 Corinthians 4:7-18 Devotional:- “For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” (V. 17) NLT  God has a purpose behind every problem. God depends more on circumstances to grow our character than reading the Bible; this is because we have challenging circumstances twenty four seven. The word of God made us to see challenges in our life as normal (1 Peter 4:18). Your deepest expression of worship is mostly in the darkest days. It is during suffering that we learn to pray our most authentic, heart-felt and honest prayers to God (James 5:16). God would have kept Jeremiah from the throne to the pit, Joseph from been thrown into the jail, Paul from been shipwrecked or the three Hebrew from been thrown into the fire but he left those problems to himself. COMMITMENT

Romans 12:9-21
“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another” (V. 10)

    Most people want good home but do not want to pay the price for it. One of the major prices for a good relationship is commitment to each other. The parties must all embrace the spirit of commitment. Everyone is committed in one place or the other. If a man or woman is not committed to his or her spouse, he/she is committed to someone else somewhere. It is therefore very important for each member to be committed to each other.

The word of God says, we should be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love. This we should do by honouring and preferring each other. For couples to be committed to each other, they must put themselves in mind always. The man should not put away the thought of the woman, while the woman should not also. They should always remember to share and care for one another no matter the distance. They should set their attention on one another. Not that we will not have time for other things but relationship should not also be neglected.

Friend, we should be so committed to each other that we should know where the other person is and what he is likely doing at a particular time. The same is the church of God. The Royal law is love first (James 2:8). Do not only be committed to your children, be committed to your spouse and also to your church. That is the way to get the best of relationship. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the spirit of commitment to my relationship.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
