VALUE YOURSELF

VALUE YOURSELF 1 Peter 2:1-10  Devotional:- “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (V. 9) NKJV If anyone is going to enjoy the love of God, he must see himself as lovely. One of the ways for someone to see themselves as lovely is by valuing themselves. You need to know that of all the creatures of God, not only on earth but also in heaven, you are the most special. According to the word of God, there is no other creature that is as valuable as you are. You are the reason for the labour of the devil (1 Peter 5:8). You are the envy of the demons. You are the envy of the angels. A great percentage of the angels are serving the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). The scripture we read today calls you a chosen one. That is, among the multitude, God selected you out for Himself. You are a royal priesthood, that is, you are a kingly priest...

TOTAL LOVE

TOTAL LOVE

Proverbs 5:15-21
Devotional:- “Let them be only your own, And not for strangers with you” (V. 17)

Everyone who wishes to cultivate good relationship must learn to give total love. There are different types of relationship, yet they all need the virtue of love. The word of God says our love should not be with hypocrisy (Romans 12:9). Half love is no love. To get the best of any relationship, you have to give it total love. If not, the other person you are relating with will soon discover that you are not genuine and will also withdraw from you.

The word of God says we should not allow our fountain to be dispersed all over places. In other word, be specific and single focus. Then, give your all of love. Don’t share the love of your spouse with another person. Don’t be loose. Be disciplined. Don’t allow the spirit of the devil to turn you to a cheap bread. Discipline yourself and don’t be unnecessarily captivated with stranger’s love apart from your spouse.

Friend, when people begin to think that they can manage sin and not sinning, they will end up regretting it. This is because, they do not know that there is a spirit behind sin, which is the devil. So, the Bible says we should flee from sin (1 Timothy 6:11). This is because it will permit the devil to bring anything down (Romans 6:23). Give your total only to your spouse. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to give focus to my relationship.
