  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. AGREEMENT

Amos 3:1-6
Devotional:- “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” (V. 3)

    Journeying together in good relationship will be difficult except the parties come to terms of agreement. As powerful as relationships could be to the life of man, as important is agreement to make it strong. A family relationship without agreement will be full of argument always. This is because; people don’t know the power of agreement. That is why many are forced into agreement like master and slave relationship.

The word of God says two will need to first agree together on how they want to run their lives before they can walk together. Those agreements will have implication on their future experiences. Such agreement should cover their spiritual life or journey with God. It could also affect their nuclear and extended family relationship. It could also concern their children and their financial life.

Surely, no one knows it all from the beginning, but the basis of relationship should be on the agreement. That is why; young people should have a time of courtship and counseling. Everything may change later; it should not affect fundamental issues of godliness and vision. It is never too late to walk in agreement and peace will return to your home. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make my relationship to work with agreement.

“AGREEMENT IS ACTUALLY THE STRENGTH OF ONENESS”.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
