  THE CHILD JESUS Luke 2:41-52 Devotional:- “And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them” (V. 51) KJV. Contrary to the right principle of life, the young people of this generation have started embarking on what may not profit their future. God’s Word say honour your father and your mother that it might be well with you and that your days may be long (Ephesians 6: 1-3). But very many young people of this generation have began to take to a life of dishonoring their parents and other elderly ones in the society. They think talking abusively and beating elderly ones is a way to shine in life. But little do they know that they put curses upon themselves. This is a fulfillment of the scripture (1 Timothy 3:1-2). Friend, one of the lessons of this season is that we should honour our parents and elders among us. Jesus was in Jerusalem with His parents. AGREEMENT

Amos 3:1-6
Devotional:- “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” (V. 3)

    Journeying together in good relationship will be difficult except the parties come to terms of agreement. As powerful as relationships could be to the life of man, as important is agreement to make it strong. A family relationship without agreement will be full of argument always. This is because; people don’t know the power of agreement. That is why many are forced into agreement like master and slave relationship.

The word of God says two will need to first agree together on how they want to run their lives before they can walk together. Those agreements will have implication on their future experiences. Such agreement should cover their spiritual life or journey with God. It could also affect their nuclear and extended family relationship. It could also concern their children and their financial life.

Surely, no one knows it all from the beginning, but the basis of relationship should be on the agreement. That is why; young people should have a time of courtship and counseling. Everything may change later; it should not affect fundamental issues of godliness and vision. It is never too late to walk in agreement and peace will return to your home. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make my relationship to work with agreement.

“AGREEMENT IS ACTUALLY THE STRENGTH OF ONENESS”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
