THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. THE WAY TO MORE

THE WAY TO MORE

Luke 16:9-13
Dev “Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?” (v. 11)

Everyone in the world always want more in life. That is why the economist says, human wants are unlimited. It is a beautiful thing to keep increasing and becoming big in life. That is actually the plan of God for all his children (Proverbs 4:18) But this is not just automatic. There are principles that govern more in life.

Jesus said if a man is not faithful in life, how can he have more? (Luke 16:11). The principle of more is therefore in we having the character and attitude that is able to manage the little God has given to us. These attitude are self-control, self-discipline, diligence, faithfulness etc. This is the reason we should see ourselves as steward of in charge of the properties of God.

To be faithful in the little mean you are prudent and not wasteful. It means you are using God's resources in your life, not for selfish interest but for the purpose for which God gives you. It means you are using the resources so well that you are affecting others for good and making progress by the little. Stop complaining that what you have is little, start to make the best us of it (Zechariah 4:10) Then you will see God increasing you more and more (Matthew 25:28-29). Peace

PRAYER- Lord, help me to always use your resources rightly.

“IF YOU ARE NOT OKAY WITH THE LITTLE, YOU ARE NOT READY FOR MORE”
