  JOYFUL COMPANION  Luke 1:37-45 Devotional:- “For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy” (v.44) NKJV We must know that sooner or later, we will always look like the people we are moving with. God’s word says, he that walks with the wise shall be wise and the companion of fools shall be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). This means that what we gain from the surroundings of our associates has a very strong influence upon our life. If a man walks with people who don’t know or appreciate joy, he may not also experience joy. We read about the visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Since two of them carry unique children of divine significance, they both have the Spirit of God in them. This brings about a joyful effect. Matt 25:20-27
Dev “And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours” (v. 25)

God is a successful God and He has not make anyone to fail. But people fail when they lack understanding. When we see others more than us, we get disturbed and ask why me Lord? This is because our mind is only on the profit but not on the responsibility we need to take to produce more in life.

From the scripture we read today, we know that giving of excuses is an act of unfaithfulness. Our excuses are often based on the fact that we think life is not fare on us. Our excuses makes us to justify ourselves and approves ourselves as what life gives to us but not what we deserve.

It is important you know that God does not give failure to anyone. It is just that we do not know that we are the one to wake up to do all we can with what the Lord has given us to make the best of it.

Please know that you are made to overcome and succeed. Stop seeing others better than you. Sit down with what God has given to you. Look at your strengths, gifts and talents. Look at your relationships and opportunities and think of how you can start to move and you will see the provisions of God for your success. You will not fail in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER- Lord give me the grace to see your blessings around me.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
