THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. YOUR ABILITIES

YOUR ABILITIES

Exodus 31:1-11
Dev:- “And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,” (v. 3) NKJV

God has invested in each one on earth some special abilities. What you are design to do, no one can do exactly like you. That is why if you don’t make your unique contribution to the body of Christ, no one will. God will at the end raise others. Your unique abilities are your natural inborn talents (Exodus 31:3-5). All our abilities comes from God at birth (Romans 12:6).

Some studies have proved that an average person possesses from 300 to 700 different skills and abilities. Your brain can store 100 trillion facts, your mind can handle 15,000 decisions a second. You nose can smell up to 10,000 different odors. You are a bundle of incredible abilities, an amazing creature of God. You need to know that every abilities can be used to serve the Lord and bring glory to Him (1 Corinthians 10:31). God has a place in the church and in the world where your abilities can make a difference. You are the one to find out.

To discover your special abilities you must examine where you are very good. Your abilities were not given just to make a living, they are equally for your ministry (1 Peter 4:10). God doesn’t waste abilities, He matches them with our callings and capabilities. Whatever you are good at doing God expect you to use it to serve Him in the Church and in your place of work.

Friend, don’t face eternity without using you talents or special abilities for God, it will be eternity without any reward. The Lord will help you. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me not to miss my opportunity to serve in your house
