  NATURE OF LOVE I Corinthians 13:1-8  Devotional:- "suffers long and is kind .. does not envy.. does not parade itself…” (V. 4). Since men do not have the actual understanding of love, they turn it into lust. And now it is lust most people call love. It is the reason for most frustration and discouragement today. The scripture we read today revealed to us the true nature of love. It reveals to us that no man’s service shall be acceptable or profitable until he puts in love (v. 1-3). The beautiful thing about the nature oflove is that it is the nature of God, for God is love (1 John 4:8). And if God dwells in us, love should also be demonstrated in us. The scripture says, love suffers long, that is why God loves to forgive his own people. Several times we have turned away from him, yet He does not turn away from us. He still looks for us. IN CHARGE

Genesis 1:26-31
Dev:- “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."” (v. 28)

    At creation a major purpose why God made man was to put him in charge of all He has made. This directly reflect in the first verse when God introduce the idea of creating man (Genesis 1:26) God also bless man to be able to take charge (Genesis 1:28). 

Man need to take charge on behalf of God. This is the reason He gave you a body, a family, a business, a ministry in the kingdom of God. You are to take charge as a steward. This understanding is to set us up and not to be irresponsible over all he has committed to our hands. All it take to demonstrate our faithfulness to our master is to wake up, take responsibility and be faithful to Him.     

Friend, stop treating your steward responsibility with levity anymore. Don't forget it determine your promotion on earth (Luke 16:10-12). Remember you will give account of your stewardship (Matthew 25:19). Remember you will be rewarded in eternity based on your faithfulness in your stewardship. Therefore wake up and God will bless you more and more. Peace.

Prayer -Lord help me to truly take charge of what you put in my charge.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
