  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. IN CHARGE

Genesis 1:26-31
Dev:- “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."” (v. 28)

    At creation a major purpose why God made man was to put him in charge of all He has made. This directly reflect in the first verse when God introduce the idea of creating man (Genesis 1:26) God also bless man to be able to take charge (Genesis 1:28). 

Man need to take charge on behalf of God. This is the reason He gave you a body, a family, a business, a ministry in the kingdom of God. You are to take charge as a steward. This understanding is to set us up and not to be irresponsible over all he has committed to our hands. All it take to demonstrate our faithfulness to our master is to wake up, take responsibility and be faithful to Him.     

Friend, stop treating your steward responsibility with levity anymore. Don't forget it determine your promotion on earth (Luke 16:10-12). Remember you will give account of your stewardship (Matthew 25:19). Remember you will be rewarded in eternity based on your faithfulness in your stewardship. Therefore wake up and God will bless you more and more. Peace.

Prayer -Lord help me to truly take charge of what you put in my charge.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
