  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. IN CHARGE

Genesis 1:26-31
Dev:- “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."” (v. 28)

    At creation a major purpose why God made man was to put him in charge of all He has made. This directly reflect in the first verse when God introduce the idea of creating man (Genesis 1:26) God also bless man to be able to take charge (Genesis 1:28). 

Man need to take charge on behalf of God. This is the reason He gave you a body, a family, a business, a ministry in the kingdom of God. You are to take charge as a steward. This understanding is to set us up and not to be irresponsible over all he has committed to our hands. All it take to demonstrate our faithfulness to our master is to wake up, take responsibility and be faithful to Him.     

Friend, stop treating your steward responsibility with levity anymore. Don't forget it determine your promotion on earth (Luke 16:10-12). Remember you will give account of your stewardship (Matthew 25:19). Remember you will be rewarded in eternity based on your faithfulness in your stewardship. Therefore wake up and God will bless you more and more. Peace.

Prayer -Lord help me to truly take charge of what you put in my charge.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
