ATMOSPHERE OF LOVE

ATMOSPHERE OF LOVE l John 4:12-19 Devotional:- “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.“ (V. 18) NKJV In any environment where love is predominant, such environment will be characterized with liberty. So many people who desire an atmosphere of love today unconsiciously create barriers agaisnt it by not creating a free environment. In the home of some people, though they complain there is no love, they don’t create liberty among themselves. The scripture we read today says, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. “A very good portrait of love is the atmosphere God created in the garden of Eden at creation. God wanted love, and so He made it a free relationship. Liberty is not an absence of rules and regulations but the joy of living by the rules without fear. Liberty without laws will surely lead to sin. That time, God will come down in His glory and ma...

A STEWARD

A STEWARD

Colossians 1:24-29
Devotional verse: “of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God,” (v. 25)

God want us to know that we are stewards in this world. Understanding this will make us walk rightly with God in this evil world. A major reason children of God don't live to please Him in all things is because they do not know that they are stewards.

It's important we come to know that all that is in this world belong to the Lord (Psalm 24:1). He made all things and own all things (John 1:3, Genesis. 1:1). He made both man and beast, both plants, water and even the rock. All He has done was to put man in charge of what He has made (Genesis 1:26-31). That is why both man and all that are in this world therefore belong to God.

As stewards we are put in charge to manage the affairs of this world for God. That is why it is expected of us to be faithful to God. A Steward is the one that is put incharge of another man’s property. All that we have still belong to Him (John 3:27, Matthew 25:14). That Is why God will not give us more than we can handle per time (Matthew 25:15). We should therefore keep it in mind that we shall give account of our stewardship one day before God (2 Corinthians 5:10). It is faithfulness in effective use of what he allow us to handle that leads to having more (Luke 16:10-12). That is why we must use all He gives to us, fearfully and diligently according to His instructions. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me clear understanding of my stewardship with you.
