  MADE TO SERVE GOD 1 Corinthians 3:5-17 Devotional:- “For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building. (V.9 NLT) God put you on earth to make contributions and make a difference with your life. Another purpose of your life is to serve the Lord wherever you are. You are created to add to the earth and not just to take from it. This purpose of your life is called ministry or service. It is very important that you live in this consciousness, you were created to serve God (Ephesians 2:10). Wherever you are either in the school or in the office, be sure you are serving God and fulfilling your purpose.  God saved you to serve Him. Your work, business or academic is also a work and a service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:5-7). God redeemed you to do His holy work everywhere in your life. YOUR MONEY

1 Timothy 6:17-21
Devotional: “Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share,” (V. 18)

        In this world, money is one of the strong means of exchange. With it we buy things from the market, with it, we pay wages, with it we pay bills, with it we serve the Lord and with it we demonstrate our love. So we can see that money is a vital factor in the life of people. But we must not forget that it all belong to God (Haggai 2:8). It is a product of the creation of God. So we shall give account of how we direct it.

The truth is that, money been a major means of income in this world has gain so much value in life and it has the tendency to replace God in our heart. That is why Jesus said, we must choose between God and money (Matthew 6:24). This is because, the moment we have the ability to buy, God may not be necessary again. So there are two types of people in our world. People who are controlled by money and people who controls money. You need to check your life to know the group belong to.

If money will not be your lord, then make Jesus your Lord consciously. Remember always that we shall give account of how we spend God's provision in our life. Let God direct your ways of making and spending money. Follow the instructions of the word of God on giving. So that you will not be in danger of judgment. Use it to bless your family and the Lord. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make me a master over money.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
