  RIGHTEOUSNESS 2 Corinthians 5:14-21  Devotional:- “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (V. 21) NKJV It is because of the love of God that we are called the people of God today (Romans 9:25). This has created an eternal problem for the devil. In the Old Testament, many people tried to please God, but they were not able, and this brought destruction upon them. The Bible mentioned that Jesus, when He died, went to hell to free the saints (1 Peter 3:19). These are men who had lived all their lives to obey the law, yet were not able to reach the mark of righteousness. Today, the righteousness they were not able to attain, we have effortlessly attained. This is not because we are better than they were, but because we are children born in due season. YOUR GIFTS

1 Corinthians 12:1-11
Dev:- “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:” (v. 7)

    When we come to know the Lord, we receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Part of the package of the Holy Spirit are the gift of the Spirit. The word of God says the Spirit gives them to each one as He wishes (1 Corinthians 12:11). That is why none of us can call it our own. It is called the gift of God.

I believe the word gift already suggest that it is kept in our charge. We are then a steward to manage it unbehalf of the owner (1 Corinthians 4:1). These gifts are for the edification and confort of the body of Christ (the church) (1 Corinthians 14:3). These gifts are divided to different groups. The first is revelational gifts. These are the gifts that makes us experience God’s revelation. They are the word of wisdom, word of knowledge and discerning of spirits. The second is the gift of power. They are gifts of faith, working of miracles and the gift of help. The third is the vocal or inspirational gifts. They are gifts of prophesy, diverse kind of tongue and interpretation of tongues.  

You can activate these gifts in your life by prayer and fasting and service to God. They can be activated when you are living by faith and worshipping the Lord. We have seen it in the Bible that they can be activated by men of God laying hands on you (2 Timothy 1:6). Remember they are for the edification and comfort of all. Please use them to minister to people in body of Christ. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, let your gifts manifest in me to make me a blessing.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
