  SUBMIT TO HIM John 14:12-24  “Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (V. 23) NKJV   Sometimes on the platform of love, there is nothing men cannot offer to one another. If you truly love a man you will not want to reject or disobey him. You will want to do as much as it is in your capacity. You will not want to turn him down. Can you imagine how strictly you want to keep to an appointment with a loved one? If we have attached so much importance to responding to our lover, how much more God. If you truly love God it will be natural for you to submit to His will. You will not need to argue or ask too many questions. It will be a pleasure submitting to His will. Jesus said in the scripture we read today, if anyone loves me he will keep my words. In other word he will submit or obey my word. YOUR STEPS

Psalm23:1-6
Devotional “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”  (V. 1)

    You are responsible for your steps on earth. That is, where you go and what you do. All of these shall be brought to judgment and you will give account of them all. That is why as a child of God, we must mind our steps in life.

King David gave the testimony of how his steps become godly. This is because he made the Lord his shepherd. In other words, he always allows God to lead him in all his ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). The word of God also inform us that we can keep taking steps that pleases the Lord by meditating on the word of God (Psalm 119:9-11). God's word also inform us of the third factor that can make our ways pleasing to God and that is by the kind of association we keep (Psalm 1:1-3; Proverbs 13:20).

Friend, if your steps will always please the Lord, then those three factors are important. Those who takes those three factors negatively will always take negative steps and always be in the wrong places. You therefore need to watch your steps so as not to be in danger of judgement of Christ. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, be the guide of my life forever.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
