STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

YOUR POSSESSION

YOUR POSSESSION

Luke 12:13-21
Dev. “But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?'” (v. 20)

The word of God says all that we have are given to us by God (John 3:27). That makes all that we have to belong to God automatically (Psalm 24:1). And if our procession is from the Lord and belongs to God, then they are trusted into our hands as stewards. This then demand that we manage them with a sense of stewardship in the fear of the Lord.

The man we read about today in the scripture, does not realize he was a steward unto God. He took what he had to be personal possession. He lost a sense of accountability. He became too personal with what he has and God was not pleased. At the end he lost not only his possession but also his soul. (Mark 8:36)

Friend the word of God says the fear of the Lord is wisdom (Job 28:28). Please do not forget that we brought nothing to the world and we shall leave with nothing. Therefore treat what God has given you with the fear of the Lord. Love the Lord with what you have and love your Neighbour with it. The Lord will keep blessing you in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to trade my soul with material things.
