  JOYFUL COMPANION  Luke 1:37-45 Devotional:- “For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy” (v.44) NKJV We must know that sooner or later, we will always look like the people we are moving with. God’s word says, he that walks with the wise shall be wise and the companion of fools shall be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). This means that what we gain from the surroundings of our associates has a very strong influence upon our life. If a man walks with people who don’t know or appreciate joy, he may not also experience joy. We read about the visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Since two of them carry unique children of divine significance, they both have the Spirit of God in them. This brings about a joyful effect. YOUR TIME

Ephesians 5:15-21
Dev: “redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”  (v. 16)

    We need to remember this always that our time on earth is an investment to our life. Our time seems to always be there. There is tendency to assume that we will always have all the time and forget to manage effectively.

Time is one of God's investment that everyone have equally. No one is richer than anyone in time. The difference in what we get with time is determined by what we do with time. Man can invest time by using it for unprofitable ventures. Whenever we invest our time profitably time we will harvest the profit over the time (Ecclesiastes 11:1).

To redeem the time is to buy it back. This is by investing into a profitable venture profitably. It is by doing what will profit us over time. This is taking every opportunity that comes our ways serious to make the best of it. That way the time in the past can be regained by the grace of God (Joel 2:25). The word of God says the days are evil. I.e. these are day of great challenges. So make up your mind to get the best of your time. Remember you will give account. Peace.

PRAYER- Lord give me the grace to make the best use of my time.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
