KEEP TO YOUR SPOUSE

KEEP TO YOUR SPOUSE   Proverbs 5:15-23 Devotional:- “Drink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well” (V. 15) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional KEEP TO YOUR SPOUSE Support Us Proverbs 5:15-23 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com To the people in our generation, God have almost become a liar, because he said it is not good for a man or woman to be alone. What he said is not good seem good to many today. We easily forget that God is not a liar, not remembering that he is our creator who knew us before we were born and also knew our future. There is wisdom in bringing two heads together. God’s word says two are better than one.   One of the reasons marriage fails today is because spouses can’t stay with each other for a long time. They quickly get fed up with each other, counting on ...

STRENGTH IN YOUR WEAKNESSES

STRENGTH IN YOUR WEAKNESSES 2 Corinthians 13:1-6 Devotional “For though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you. (V.4)      Everyone has weakness in all spheres of life. In fact, each of us has a bundle of flaws and imperfection physically and spiritually. What matter most is what we do with them. Normally, we often want to deny, defend, hide, resent and give excuses about them. But that way God will not be able to use them for our benefit (Proverb 28:13). God do not want to use only our strength but also our meanness for His Glory (1 Corinthians 1:27). Realize God want to bless the weak (Matthew 5:3) Note that it is the first thing God bless.

LIVING WITH PURPOSE

LIVING WITH PURPOSE Proverbs 19:16-23 Devotional – “You can make many plans, but the LORD's purpose will prevail” (v. 21 NLT)      Living on purpose is the only way to really live; everything else just merely exists. Most people struggle with these three questions in life; WHO AM I? (Identity); WHY AM I MADE? (Purpose); WHAT IS MY PLACE IN LIFE? (Impact). The answers to these entire questions are found in five Gods purpose for you. Now that you know God’s purpose for your life, it is important you live in it.

WORLD CLASS CHRISTIAN

Image
WORLD CLASS CHRISTIAN  MARK 16:14-20 Devotional:- "And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (v. 15)      There are two types of Christians in the world: The world class Christians and the worldly Christian. You are either in one of these groups. The worldly Christians look to God primarily for personal needs. They are saved but self-centered. Their prayer focuses on me first and focuses on their needs, blessings and happiness or comfort. They want to use God for their purpose instead of been used for Gods purposes. “Jesus sent us to reach the world, be part”.

SHARING YOUR LIFE MESSAGE

Image
SHARING YOUR LIFE MESSAGE 1 John 5:6-13 “He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son” (v. 10)      It is important we know that when we become believers we also become God’s messengers. God want to speak to the world through you (2 Corinthians 2:17). As messengers of Christ we must be willing to share the gospel wherever we find ourselves. Our life messages have four parts. Your life message includes your testimony. This is the story of how Christ has made a difference in your life (1 Peter 2:9). True witnesses are to simply reporting what happen to them or what they saw. These are all about; what my life was before I met Jesus, how I realized I needed Jesus; how I committed my life to Jesus, the difference Jesus has made in my life.

YOU ARE A MISSIONARY

YOU ARE A MISSIONARY John 17:6-19 Devotional “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. (V. 18 NLT)      God is working all over the world and He has made you to be part of His work. It is the assignment of God for all Christians that is called Mission (2 Corinthians 5:20) Fulfilling your mission on earth is the fifth purpose of your life. Mission means been sent and every Christians is sent by the Lord (John 20:21). When we are saved, we become members of God’s family and the mission of Jesus becomes our mission.

HOW SERVANTS THINKS

Image
HOW SERVANTS THINKS Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” [v. 24].      To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

Image
HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” [v.43].      The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed.
