If a man is not trapped by his word, he can hardly be trapped in another way. So many times we are in judgment because we are not patient enough to hear and to know before we quickly reply or conclude matters. Do you know that many of the things that cause quarrels are not really worth it? But because we do not have the right understanding of matters, we then give our own interpretation, wrongly misinterpreting affairs and there by reacting with grievances (Proverbs 18:13). Though we may later realise our reaction is based on a wrong impression, it might have been too late to reverse the event, and a lot of things might have been destroyed.

If you learn to be slow to react or wrath, you will avoid many problems in your life and relationships. This same reason has brought failure to many students who have failed their examinations. Instead of patiently reading and having an understanding of the exam questions, they rashly assume the mind of the examiners and begin to answer. Only to later discover that they have missed it.

You will do yourself a great good to have taken these words of wisdom of God and make it a way of life, hence- forth. Your life and future are more important than to be full of failing and rising. You have a throne waiting for you; build yourself for it daily.

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to always be patience to jurdge

“YOU WILL BE WISE AND SAFE TO BE SLOW TO SPEAK OR WRATH”
