Our present generation think unfaithfullness is more profitable than faithfulness. They seem to have forgotten that God is still in control of the affairs of men (Daniel 4:17). True lifting comes from Him. Whoever jumps up will always come down, but if you gradually grow up, you will remain at the top (Psalm 25:6–7). All attempts to climb through unfaithfulness are nothing but self-deceit, and the falling shall be great, Jesus says. Before your own possession can be handed over to you, you must be faithful in that which belongs to another, if not, the law of sowing and reaping will be fulfilled on you
I don’t know what you are doing for other people now. If you desire to be successful, then put on faithfulness. It is the principle of God for lifting. If you steal someone else's money to start your business, other people will surely steal both your profit and the capital. If you observe everyone God has lifted up, they were first faithful in serving others. Joseph was faithful in the house of Potiphar, his master, as well as in the prison, and God later lifted him above everyone in Egypt. David was faithful in keeping his father’s flocks, and God found it suitable to make him a king over His people.
Friend, it is not too late; God can still destroy all the seed of unfaithfulness you’ve sown in the past if you will repent now. Ask God to forgive you in Jesus name and begin to sow good works. Then you are sure of a future that is glorious.
Prayer: Lord, set me free from the spirit of
unfaithfulness
