Diligence is a product of a strong desire to achieve a good end. Many people have always desire for achievement but the desire has not been strong enough to produce the required passion of diligence in them. So they could not reach their goal. 

Before your desire can be strong enough to drive you to achievement, you need a well-defined goal (meaningful, profitable and worthy of being proud of). When your goal is well defined, you should be ready to sow the entirety of yourself into it. Without your involvement, your vision cannot be fulfilled. A business without you is just like a business without your vision but with other people's visions. A diligent man therefore is a man of great desire. With discipline, self-denial, and personal involvement in carrying out the vision, such people cannot but be victorious and successful. 

At the end, if you are lazy, no amount of prayer will make you succeed. Lazy people have no good portion on the earth. You need to understand that God has invested so much into you, and you cannot afford to fail. So many people don’t want to labour for anything but just to get the money. God said such should not eat (2 Thess. 3:10). There is a great ability in you; don’t waste it, employ diligence and it will reveal your relevance to your generation. 

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to discover the worth goal for my passion

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
