The enemy of man, the devil, always wants to steal the human attention away from God. No man can live a worthy life without God. With all our knowledge and labour, if God does not crown it with his help, all will still be in vain (Psalm 127:1–2). This then brings the need for God in your life. If you want to live without God, your life will be full of sorrow and regrets. 

The three wise men in our scripture sought the Lord as soon as they were aware of his birth; they denied themselves, left everything and travelled all day to achieve this purpose. Most people do not always seek the Lord, so their lives lack heavenly support. Many even forsake Him as soon as they get hold of what they need. Only to come back to square one. 

Gain this wisdom today; deny yourself and pay every price to secure divine backing for your life. Seek him always, worship, praise and always honour Him. When you have the opportunirty, put other things aside to do this. Please know that the enemy will contend for your seeking the Lord. He will use many friends and situations to discourage you. So, you need to be intentional in seeking the Lord. When the devil discover that you have made up your mind and determine to always seek the Lord, he will leave you alone. 

Stop thinking you can go on and on without him. Don’t forsake the gathering of the children of God because of excuses (Hebrews 10:25). Whether you think it is well or not, seek Him, for he is the rewarder of those who diligently seek him (Heb. 11:6) 

Prayer: Lord, give me the passion to always seek you for light and solutions

“IF YOU LEARN TO SEEK THE LORD, HE WILL ALSO PERFECT YOUR PATH”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
