SEEK GOOD WORDS   Proverb 12:20 – 28 “Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad” (V. 25) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional SEEK GOOD WORDS Support Us Proverb 12:20 – 28 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com The reason many people find life frustrating is because of the kind of information they listen to. There is no one that the devil doesn’t want to discourage. That is why we must seek to hear what will encourage us. Do you know that your life can be highly productive? You only need to be motivated and encouraged to move forward. Friend, if the company you keep does not motivate you, if the people who counsel you don’t challenge your faith, if the people you belong to doesn’t help you discover the potentials in you for greatness, there is a need to move away from such. God’s blessing is a product of the covenant practice. That means, it doesn’t respond to just any other thing as you obeying the covenant. In a covenant, each party has a part to play. Since it involves more than one person, where a party have not failed to play his own role, the other party cannot refuse to play his own part.

In the covenant of blessing and prosperity, our part is to give, and God will bless in turn. There are so many avenues through which God encourages giving. Through “Tithe” (Malachi 3:10) Kingdom investment” that is a project in the house of God, and mission or Evangelistic work.(Mattew 6:19-21, Mark 10:28-30) Prophet offering, that is giving to the men of God (Matt. 20:40-42) and giving to the poor (Prov. 19:17 and your family responsibilities. You can’t be involved in all these and not see God’s blessing on your life. The neglect of any of them can curse our blessing. This is not with a transaction mindset but a covenant mindset.

The three wise men from our Scripture today came purposely to seek Jesus and to bless him with their gifts. You will be wise to start giving also. It may not seem like responding immediately, but if you are not weary, the blessing will begin to come (Galatians 6:9). Stop postponing your covenant practice; you are only postponing your miracle. The covenant practice will break every yoke against your blessings (Malachi 3:11). Deny yourself with all determination; this covenant practice blessed Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and many other people even in our age. Let it bless you too. May you be wise (Prov. 3:9-10)

Prayer: Lord, give me the light of your covenant for my blessings

“WHEN YOU PLAY YOUR PART OF THE COVENANT. YOU CAN THEN ASK FOR GOD’S PART”
