When you seek after knowledge, you will find it, and when you have insight into knowledge, you’ll gain understanding. But this is not wisdom yet; wisdom has a proof, and this is not just what you store in the brain, but in the products produced. If knowledge will produce results in your life, then you must walk in wisdom. A student was put on intensive piano training for a period of time, but after training, he would not practise because he thought it was just the learning alone that made a pianist
Another student is in the same school who is not even a piano student, but because of his interest in the piano will always peep from a distance to hear the instructor. And will always go back to practise when the instructor has left according to what he had heard. He eventually became a better pianist and even have to start to teach the first students. Now, who is wise?
Don’t just know about giving to prosper, but begin to practice giving. Also, service is for lifting, so begin to serve. Do your best to obey the word of God; wisdom will soon be proved in your life. So, wisdom is doing the word and not just knowing it (Matthew 7:24). This is because it is wise attitude and the word of God that can help you build it. Stop looking at the word of God as mere religious book but the book that is able to build wisdom in your heart (2 Timothy 3:15). May you be wise.
Prayer: Lord, help me to begin to
gain true wisdom through your word.
“HE THAT IS WALKING ACCORDING TO
GOD’S WORD IS WALKING IN WISDOM”.
