Whenever the Bible uses the word " heart,” it is not referring to the biological heart; it is referring to your mind and simply talking about your mental faculty. Your mind is not just biological; rather, it contains something more spiritual. This makes it different from the mind of an animal. God breathed into the nostril of man the breath of life, and man became a living Soul (Genesis 2:7). The Bible says God is a living soul. The breath of life differentiates you from an animal. This is what departed when Adam sinned but was restored at new birth. 

I like to say that you contain a part of God in you that is your heart. Through it you receive God’s voice and wonderful ideas that can transform your life and bring your breakthrough. The reason some people's hearts are not performing is that they have not renewed them and keep it the way they should be. It is to be kept with all diligence, for out of it come issues of life (Prov. 23:7) 

The instrument for renewing your mind is the word of God, and keeping it by being careful of what goes into it because what goes into it will determine what will come out of it. Just like your mind, you should be careful of what you eat; you should be careful of what you watch, hear, and read. Your heart is capable of giving you ideas that will lift you, if you'll keep it. Stop giving poison to your heart to feed on. The result of your life is a product of what you are feeding your heart with. Progress is a product of new revelation to your mind. If you change the type of meal you give to your mind, your life will change. 

Prayer: Lord, help me to daily engage in searching for new information for my progress

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
