They can be used as a picture of yourself. You will notice that a lot of the time you have the privilege of conversing with people, something just keeps pushing you to continue talking until you overdo it. Then you’ll begin to say what you don't mean to say. Many a time, the volume of words that come out of our mouths is not what we have planned for or decided, but because we have not learned to caution our lips, which is an act of discipline. Such excessive words can later become instruments of tempt...

WORLD CLASS CHRISTIAN 

MARK 16:14-20
Devotional:- "And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (v. 15)


    There are two types of Christians in the world: The world class Christians and the worldly Christian. You are either in one of these groups. The worldly Christians look to God primarily for personal needs. They are saved but self-centered. Their prayer focuses on me first and focuses on their needs, blessings and happiness or comfort. They want to use God for their purpose instead of been used for Gods purposes. “Jesus sent us to reach the world, be part”. 

In contrast, world class Christians are people who are saved and know that they are here to serve the purpose of God. Find them anywhere in the world they will be serving God’s purpose. They are eager to receive personal assignment and excited about the privilege of been used by God. Everything they do in life is towards fulfilling the purpose of God and not just for worldly pleasure. They are happy to be a mouthpiece of the gospel and never ashamed of Christ (Romains 1:16). They know that eternity with God begins with judgment.

To be a world class Christian you need to mind shift from self-centered thinking to others-centered thinking (1 Corinthians 14:20). You must shift from local thinking to global thinking (John 3:16). Pray for opportunities to witness, for courage to speak, for others in the work and prepare to go for mission, shift from thinking here and now to eternity (Hebrews 12:1, Matt 6:20-21). Shift from thinking excuses to creative way to fulfill your commission (Jer1:7-8). Stop waiting for special calls to serve the Lord. Serve Him right where you are. If you want to be like Jesus, You must have a heart for the whole world as your field of harvest. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to be a world class Christian.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

DOMINION

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
