No one can enter into true wisdom without God. The Bible says, “The fear of the Lord begins wisdom…” May I then say that you can’t experience true wisdom but by recognising God and living your life in fear of his sovereignty. 

The fear of God does not mean running away from God in trembling; it rather means reverencing and honouring His word. Knowing fully well that whatever you will ever need in life is in His hand, and without him you cannot be anything meaningful in life (Isaiah 66: 2). If you don’t fear God, your heart will not accommodate wisdom. So many people have attributed success and victory to only getting money. Now tell me, what is good about getting money that is full of sorrow and bitterness, and eventually coming back to zero at the end of the day? This is not true wisdom.. 

The Bible says, “The Blessing of the lord makes one rich, and it adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 20:22; Proverbs 15:16). Friends, I’d like to encourage you to start living in the fear of God. Let this scare you from doing evil. Without God backing you up you are zero. So, you will be doing yourself a great good by not following the wicked. This is the beginning of wisdom, and it will eventually earn you success and victory. 

Prayer: Lord, help me to be humble to live in the fear of God.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

  DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.
