Trusting God and daily living are inseparable for children of God. That is why the Bible says, “The just shall live by faith (Romans 1: 17). That means the life of the righteous is not possible without faith in God. Trusting God means total reliance upon his word, labouring in obedience to the word. Knowing fully well that God cannot fail and undoubtedly expecting and hopefully speaking in the faith of His promises. Seeing things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). This then means that trust and faith are embedded in each other.
Friend, you will be undoing yourself trying to live your life without putting your trust in God. An attempt to carry your burden yourself will amount to doing what God should be doing for you. This will be too heavy for you. It will create anxiety, giving birth to worries and resulting in sickness. But God expects you to put them on Him.
If you are trusting the Lord for something, then you must see him as a helper in your life, learning not on your own understanding. Thereby acknowledging him always. That is asking him in all things of his will, and he will direct your path. When God direct your path in life, you cannot fail. Stop facing life alone. It can be frustrating. Start acknowledging Him. He will be happy and willing to direct you, and your path shall be filled with honey and milk.
