MEDITATION

MEDITATION Psalm 1:1-6 Devotional:- “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night..” (v.2) NKJV      God’s word describes someone blessed because he/she meditates on the word of God, day and night. How can this be? The word of God is the source of inspiration that strengthens us to perform (John 1:1-3). The Bible told us that God is a spirit; therefore, meditating on the word of God is drawing on the strength of the spirit (John 6:63).

THE RIGHTEOUS

THE RIGHTEOUS

Romans 3:21-26
Devotional:- “even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference” (V. 22) NKJV

It is only a person with the life of God in him/her that can be righteous. This is because righteousness is the nature of God and not of man (Romans 3:10). Moral standard does not make anyone qualify as righteous before the Lord. That is why the bible says the righteousness of man can be likened to a dirty rag before the Lord (Isaiah 64:6). Anyone that does not the Spirit of God cannot operate the nature of God. Such is counted unrighteous no matter how well-behaved or moral standard. Because we only judge what we see God sees all things. We look at the face; He looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).

But do you know that because you have invited Jesus into your heart, you have the Spirit of God at work in you (1 Corinthians 12:3). That makes you have the life of God. And you by your faith in Christ Jesus are counted righteous (Romans 4:3). Friend, before God you are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus no matter what people say. That is why you must not allow any condemnation in your heart (Romans 8:1). It is altogether a trick of the devil to pull down your mind and your confidence in the Lord your God. You will know a Christian by his daily walk with God and that is making his life change from glory to glory.

Look here; you are not righteous because of what you do or what you do not. You just have the nature and the approval of God. This is strength for boldness and confidence in Christ (Proverbs 28:1). See, the attitude of always trying to confess even the sins you don’t know is fear and doubt (Job 1:5;3:25; Proverbs 29:25). You better stop it. You carry the righteousness of God in you. Not declared by man but by God.

PRAYER: LORD, SWITCH ME ON TO THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF MY RIGHTEOUSNESS IN YOU.

“RIGHTEOUSNESS IS ONLY GOD’S APPROVAL NOT MAN’S”
