THE HEART OF WORSHIP

THE HEART OF WORSHIP Romans 6:1-14 Devotional:- “And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God” (V. 13) Since worship is our first purpose on earth we need to know that worship will not be worship if we don’t surrender to God. So, surrendering is the heart of worship. In our world today, surrender sound negative. It could mean to give up or losing or admit your defeat. But it is giving ourselves to God not out of fear or necessity but in love (1 John 4:9-19). Three things often attempt to block our mind from total surrendering to God, fear, pride and confusion. As kingdom citizen, please know it that you must learn to trust God. A woman will not be able to surrender to her husband if she does not trust him and so also you to God. To truly surrender to God, you must admit your weaknesses and limitations. That is when you truly want to ask ...

PEACE

PEACE

John 14:27-30
Devotional:- “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (V. 27) NKJV

In the school of faith, the level of your peace determines the strength of your faith. That is why the Bible says that quietness and confidence shall be your strength (Isaiah 30:15). Part of our heritage in Christ is peace. This peace is given to us by the Spirit of the prince of peace in us. The prince of peace is Jesus Christ (Isaiah 9:6). When there is peace within you, there will be peace around you. The peace within commands the peace without.

In the realm of the spirit, a peaceful man is a strong man. An example is what you see in the barking of a dog. No matter how terrible a dog might be, the moment you are at peace, it considers you superior. Dogs can always make an attempt to attack but when they are met with unshaken minds, they quickly retreat but a fearful man is prey. It takes a man of peace to command peace.

This is exactly the way the devil operates. The first angel he often sent ahead of himself is the angel of fear. Fear will give birth to doubt, and doubt will make you lose all heavenly support (James 1:6-8). No matter what may be happening to you, retain your peace. Even in the face of riffle, how much more sickness, examination, interview, or any form assignment in the office. Never allow any accidental event or anyone to steal your peace. It is your strongest foundation to faith for victory. Learn to operate in the peace of God always. God’s word says you have been given, don't let any situation embarrass you again. Only put your total trust in God.

The peace we have received is not our making. It is of Christ and it is given us. Always thank God for His peace in your life and around you. Go out in peace. Do your business in peace of mind and come back home daily in peace. Then the Holy Spirit will be at His full manifestation in your life.

DECLARATION: I HAVE PEACE OF GOD WITHIN AND AROUND ME. NOTHING SHALL TROUBLE MY LIFE.

“THE STATE OF YOUR MIND DETERMINES THE STATE OF YOUR LIFE.”
