STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

TEMPLE

TEMPLE

1 Corinthians 3:16-21
Devotional:- “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (V. 16) NKJV

In biblical terms, a temple is known as a place of worship of God. It is a place for the presence of God. A sacred place separated and consecrated for spiritual worship and where God dwells. So, it is often referred to as the house of God. This is the most precious place for both man and God. No one plays or toils around this temple. The angels of God always surround His temple. The armies of heaven are always on guard. The glory of God will always cover His temple. There, people find healing, recovery and joy. This is the nature of the temple of God.

A time came when God was no longer willing to dwell in stones-temple made with the hands of men. He rather chose to make the heart of men His temple. This is one of the heritages Jesus came to give to the New Testament believers. He has come to turn us to the temples of God. He is now dwelling in us (2 Corinthians 6:16). He Is God in us (Matthew 1:23). Do you know that all of the glory of His temple is now given to you? The host of heaven watches over you. The glory of God is on you (Zechariah 2:5). You can't be God’s temple and still be a temple of sickness and pain. These are unclean things. You must check them out. They are to face their destruction now (1 Corinthians 3:17).

That is why you must keep yourself clean in righteousness. As a believer, you are the temple of God. You must keep yourself pure and Holy unto the Lord. See, all your troubles are in trouble. You need to declare who you are to them. Let those sorrows and frustrations know that God’s house is characterized by joy and pleasure (Psalms 16:11). Begin to send them out as Jesus did (John 2:13-16). You are God’s place for the climax of beauty and honour.

PRAYER: NOTHING SHALL BUY AND SELL IN MY LIFE ANYMORE.

“IF YOU ARE HIS TEMPLE, YOU WILL MANIFEST HIS BEAUTY”
