A SAVIOUR Matthew 1:18-25  Devotional:- “...for He will save His people from their sins”. (V. 21) Due to the multiplication of man, the increase and enlargement of needs, life is almost becoming a tragedy for the human race. It is becoming complicated for the government to successfully govern the people. Diseases and strange kinds of sickness are increasingly multiplying. Human and science solution is becoming unpromising to the challenges of life. The technologies men have built have become a trap and an unpredictable time bomb. The devices of wickedness in the hearts of men are becoming unbelievable. The relationship between people that made life bearable in the past is sacrificed for safety, so loneliness, one of the greatest enemies of man, is being joyfully embraced. And living is becoming a mixture ofjoy and sorrow. Yet in the midst of all of these, there is a way out to anyone who will embrace it. God has given us Jesus Christ as our Saviour. Acts 2:4-15
Devotional:- “But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, "Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words” (v.14) NKJV.

No man can face a big challenge except with the spirit of courage, which is referred to as the conqueror's backbone. You, as a believer, must know that the Spirit in you is the Spirit of courage. There is no mountain a courageous man cannot climb, no hurdle he cannot jump. And so taking risks is a normal thing in life for him.

I must let you know that we have come to live in a world where the enemy has fashioned almost everything to stand against our destiny. Courage is doing what we are to do to overcome, even when we are afraid. Not that you cannot do it but some information around you is trying to pull you down. So, a courageous man goes on notwithstanding his fear.

I need to let you know that whatever breeds fear is of the devil. And whatever inspires faith is of God. If you are going to be a winner and achiever in your life you must possess a courageous spirit. God told Joshua, “If you lack it, you lose all” (Joshua 1:6-7). If you are going to be a courageous person you must learn to operate by the Spirit of God. You need to know that the Spirit in you produces courage. Just like it takes information to create the spirit of fear, it also takes information to create and inspire courage. It is the goal of this devotional, to turn you into a person with a lion’s heart by giving you information about the spirit in you. Courage is therefore doing what you are convinced of doing despite other threatening information.

Peter was aware of the wickedness of the Jews. Because of this, they killed many prophets and even Christ. Yet when the people were gathered on the day of Pentecost he had already received the spirit of God. So, he rose in courage and without fear. That marks the beginning of the day of manifestation of God’s power through his life. You also have the Spirit of God. And God’s power is beginning to manifest in you from now.

DECLARATION: I HAVE THE SPIRIT OF GOD, SO L POSSESS COURAGE FOR MY VICTORY IN JESUS NAME.

“COURAGE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF FEAR BUT POSITIVE ACTION AMID FEAR”
