STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

SPIRIT OF COUNSEL

SPIRIT OF COUNSEL

Genesis 41:29-41
Devotional:- “So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants” (v.37) NKJV

Even though you are just an entity, because you are a carrier of the Holy Spirit, what is inside you is so big and unlimited. In other words, you are more than one. Your inner man is innumerable. What is in you is far richer than you can imagine. One of the great arms of the Spirit in you is the Spirit of counsel (Isaiah 11:2). You need to know that you are not an ordinary being. You belong to the order of God. So you carry all that is of God.

The Spirit of counsel is the Spirit that can dish out understanding and solutions to all situations. At a point in time, every natural and ignorant believer will come to the point of confusion. Not knowing what next to do. But because you carry the Holy Spirit, you will not come to that point. If you find yourself there get to know that you caused it and not God (I Corinthians 15:33). It is caused by your ignorance of the truth and permission for sorrows of heart.

With the Spirit of counsel, Joseph was able to offer counsel to king Pharaoh that delivered the whole nation, so also Daniel and Ahithophel (2 Samuel 16:23, Proverbs 20:5). This is the way to tap into it, understand without doubt that by the Spirit of God in you giving counsel of any level is cheap. Also, understand that it takes joy to fetch out of the well of salvation (Isaiah 12:3). If you are going to be a blessed vessel to God, sorrow must not be your lifestyle. You must trust God for all things and operate in the joy of hope (Romans 5:2). Tears will not let you give cheers and joy to others. Soon, even your boss will recognize your valuable counsel that can bring total change and the world shall recognize you.

PRAYER: LORD, TAKE ME TO THE REALM ABOVE SORROW FOR RICH COUNSEL

“WHEN THERE IS TRUE JOY IN YOU, YOUR INNER EYE WILL ALWAYS BE OPENED”
