THE HEART OF WORSHIP

THE HEART OF WORSHIP Romans 6:1-14 Devotional:- “And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God” (V. 13) Since worship is our first purpose on earth we need to know that worship will not be worship if we don’t surrender to God. So, surrendering is the heart of worship. In our world today, surrender sound negative. It could mean to give up or losing or admit your defeat. But it is giving ourselves to God not out of fear or necessity but in love (1 John 4:9-19). Three things often attempt to block our mind from total surrendering to God, fear, pride and confusion. As kingdom citizen, please know it that you must learn to trust God. A woman will not be able to surrender to her husband if she does not trust him and so also you to God. To truly surrender to God, you must admit your weaknesses and limitations. That is when you truly want to ask ...

AUTHORITY

AUTHORITY

Luke 10:18-24
Devotional:- “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (V. 19) NKJV

Since you are a new creature in Christ, you have a new authority in God. No one can command respect and results without authority. Many people sometimes mistake boldface and noise for authority, but you need to see a person of authority. They don’t even carry the look. This is because it is not about the look or size; it is in the awareness and consciousness of who you are. People of authority have great faith.

Look at the example of the centurion who came to Jesus in Matthew 8:1–10. He said, “Only speak a word, and my servant will be healed” (Matthew 8:8). When Jesus heard this, He gave a great comment. This man understands what is called authority. He said, I said to this servant, go, and he goes. And to another come, and they come.” This means he does not have to shout or doubt but the servants have to do what he is saying. Why? He is a man with his authority consciousness.

Look here; it is time you wake up to know that you have authority. The word of God makes you one as a believer. Take up your faith therefore and stop being afraid. Stop praying for 30 minutes to your food in fear and casting out demons before you eat it. Give thanks and just command. Long times of prayers are good but a lot of our long prayers are due to ignorance of our authority. A true believer uses a greater percentage of his prayer time rendering praises to God.

Please understand that you have authority over all the power of the enemy. Always be conscious of this. The strength of your authority is the name of Jesus (Philippians 2:5-10), the word of God (Hebrews 4:12), and the blood of Jesus (Revelation 12:11). Go about in this consciousness. Whatever I ask to go must go in the name of Jesus. Whatever I ask to come must come. In the name of Jesus, all kneels must bow to you (Philippians 2:10). Stop calling the name in fear. You are a person of authority.

DECLARATION: AS A PERSON OF AUTHORITY AT MY WORD IN THE NAME OF JESUS ALL KNEES MUST BOW.

“MEN OF AUTHORITY ARE MEN OF FEW WORDS WITH POWER.”
