  THE HEART OF WORSHIP Romans 6:1-14 Devotional:- “And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God” (V. 13) Since worship is our first purpose on earth we need to know that worship will not be worship if we don’t surrender to God. So, surrendering is the heart of worship. In our world today, surrender sound negative. It could mean to give up or losing or admit your defeat. But it is giving ourselves to God not out of fear or necessity but in love (1 John 4:9-19). Three things often attempt to block our mind from total surrendering to God, fear, pride and confusion. As kingdom citizen, please know it that you must learn to trust God. A woman will not be able to surrender to her husband if she does not trust him and so also you to God. SPIRIT OF UNDERSTANDING 

Daniel 5:1-11
Devotional:- “There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father-your father the king-made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers” (V. 11) NKJV

    The human level of exploits in life depends largely on their level of understanding. The depth of your understanding determines the size of your light in life. Understanding is what makes people outstanding. If you can't dig deep, you can’t grow tall. It is as you can take root downward, that you can bear fruits upward. Failure is mostly a result of a lack of understanding (Hosea 4:6). People of understanding are of peaceful progress. Since they can dig deep to know the right thing in life they can keep flying.

So many men of God, both in the Old and the New Testaments operate at the excellent level of understanding. They were able to comprehend what natural men would not know. That is why they did what natural men could not do. It was said about Daniel that he understands all kinds of matters. But if you look carefully, you will observe that it was because he had the Holy Spirit (Daniel 5:11). He dwells only in a few that God wanted to use in those days. But in our days, God has poured His Spirit upon all flesh (Joel 2:28-29).

You and I can enjoy the operation of the Holy Spirit for greater understanding. Nothing is ever to bring us into confusion. Nothing should be difficult for us. Everyone in your office may not know nor understand a matter but you should understand for your outstanding life. To enjoy the best of the Spirit of understanding by the Holy Spirit, you must always fellowship with God in worship and His word. Take time to always be in His presence. His word gives understanding to the simple (Psalms 119:130). When you are a good student of the bible and always meditate on it, you will flow in the spirit of understanding. This is because the word and spirit are one (John 6:63) They stir up one another. From now on you will understand your way to rise. I know that you are set for an outstanding wisdom above your equal in Jesus name.

PRAYER: LORD, LET THE WORLD KNOW ME FOR DEEP UNDERSTANDING.

“A PERSON WITH THE LIFE OF GOD IS A PERSON WITH DEEP UNDERSTANDING”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
