HOPE

HOPE Psalm 42:1-11 Devotional:- “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God” (v.11) NKJV If any man will experience sustaining joy, he must first be hopeful. Hope is the strength of joy. Hope is the reason for the coming joy. It is an expectation according to the will of God. It is an assurance of a coming joy (Hebrews 12:2). It is also the strength of faith (Hebrews 11:1). If there is no hope, there may also not be joy, but a man of hope will continue in joy. Oftentimes, we observe the current happenings around us, and it looks like there is no hope. The truth is that current events are not the determining factor for our tomorrow. God’s word says we cannot compare the suffering of now to the glory that is coming (Romans 8:18). The truth is that no hope can be genuine till it has a sure and certain promise. This is a promise that cannot fail, and that is why our hope should be in...

GREAT FUTURE

GREAT FUTURE

Romans 8:18-25
Devotional:- “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (V. 18) NKJV

The greatest aspect of your redemption is the work of your salvation. This saves you from doom and delivers to you a great destiny. God is a great God, and He cannot create failure. It has been a painful thing to Him to see the greater percentage of the people He has created in failure. This is one of the reasons for our new birth. And as a new creature, you are redeemed from defeat to victory (John 5:41), from lack to abundance (John 10:10), from sickness to health (Matthew 8:17), and from destruction to great destiny in God.

Since you give your life to Christ, your name has been removed from the book of failures and written among the ones that will make it. I must let you know that your salvation enlists you among the great. This has been purchased for you by the Lord Jesus Christ (Isaiah 53:12, 2 Corinthians 8:9). All greatness attached to Jesus by prophecy is yours through redemption (John 8:6–10). Don’t forget that the Spirit of Jesus is in you since you were saved (1 Corinthians 12:3).

Now, God’s glorious plan for humanity is yours (Jeremiah 29:11). The scripture we read today is expressing your destiny. The scripture says the entire creature is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God of which you are one (Romans 8:19). Rise from the frustration and the discouragement the enemy has put you in. Whatever you are going through now cannot be compared to where God is taking you. There is a great future ahead of you. Start to dream it. Start to plan about it. Start to take steps of faith about what God has shown to you. Break out of sorrow into the joy of hope in Christ Jesus (Romans 5:2). Come to a conclusion in Christ that you shall make it. Throw away your ugly past. This is a new life in Christ. No matter how backward you are, God is raising you. God is opening a door of glory to you from now on.

DECLARATION: LORD, I ACCEPT YOUR GREAT PLAN FOR MY LIFE I SHALL SURELY ENTER INTO MY GREAT FUTURE.

“IN THE PACKAGE OF YOUR REDEMPTION IS A GREAT FUTURE.”
