WORSHIP

WORSHIP John 4:10-26 Devotional:- “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him” (v.23) NKJV Many of us have not come to the level of understanding that God is more interested in building relationship with us than in meeting our needs. Actually, He desires to meet our needs, but fundamentally, He wants a relationship first. That is why most people don’t have a constant response from God, because He has discovered that they are much more after His gifts and not after Him as God. So also when Jesus discovered that people were following Him for the sake of fish and bread, He quickly discouraged the act (John 6:25-27). One of the things that God strongly desire from human race is our worship. Not because He wants to show that He is God, but because He knows that it will help Him build a relationship with us. Observe that God called David a man after His heart. One of the reasons...

A BRANCH

A BRANCH

John 15:1-8
Devotional:- “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” (V. 5) NKJV

As a member of the body of Christ, the Bible referred to you as a branch and Jesus Christ as the vine. The branch of every tree is the same as the tree. They enjoy the same flow of water from the root through the stem. The vine in the scripture refers to the stem. And Jesus said He is the stem. This is evidence of your genuine likeness with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Every tree enjoys the same flow of all kinds of strength from the root and from the leaves.

Most trees have their flowers and leaves on their branches. It is the leaves that reflect the life of a tree and the flower the glory and beauty of the tree. See, you are the one appointed to show forth to the world the life and the glory of God. No matter what you are going through, your life must show forth the glory of God (1 Peter 2:9).

It doesn't matter what your current situation may look like; you will surely show forth God’s glory and beauty soon. All you need to know is that you cannot do without the stem, which is Jesus Christ. You must ensure you always dwell in Him and He in you. That is, He must flow to you regularly by His word, and you must flow with Him in fellowship (John 15:4). You must always be obedience to the word of God, doing things only as He commands. And gradually your life will begin to receive grace for growth, victory, and success. And you will reflect His glory.

PRAYER: LORD, GRANT ME THE GRACE TO ALWAYS LIVE IN YOU AND YOU IN ME.

“THE BRANCH OF WHOM YOU ARE, DETERMINES THE GLORY YOUR LIFE WILL SHOW FORTH”
