EYES HAVE NOT SEEN I Corinthians 2:6-16 Devotional:- “But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."” (V. 9) NKJV Notwithstanding the experiences of people in the world today, God’s promises concerning His children remain valid. That is why you must not allow what you are going through to make you look down on the word of God. Our scripture today simply means that God will yet do in your life things that will embarrass the world. Your current state cannot be compared with your coming glory (Romans 8:18). That is why you must not give up your hope in Christ. Refuse to be a victim of your situation. All you need to do is learn the way of God’s wisdom, which is superior to that of the world. This is the way of being guided by the Spirit and the word of God. As a believer, believe in taking to God’s instruction, notwithstanding the look of your situation. Always ask the Ho...

THE NAME

THE NAME

Philippians 2:5-11
Devotional:- “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name” (V. 9) NKJV

One of the things you have in God as a person in Christ is the name of Jesus. Name is a symbol of power and greatness. Don’t assume that name is only for attention or identity. The names of people sometimes interpret the events that surround there lives. Names sometimes declare people's destinations in life. And the name could also be an identity of greatness. There are great names and there are mere names. There are names you will mention, and people will look at you twice. Imagine you entering anywhere and you introduce yourself as “Mr. God.”

Because Jesus humbled Himself to suffer and perfect the work of our redemption, God gave Him a name. This name is not only with authority but also with power. It is the greatest name in heaven and earth. God’s word says He has been given a name that is above all names (Philippians 2:9). The name has become the symbol of authority, in heaven and earth. All kneel bow to the name (Philippians 2:10). This name can open all doors (Revelation 3:7). It carries heaven’s authority, so when you mention it, all authority answers to you.

No matter the situation you may find yourself in, all things stand when you declare it in the name of Jesus. Friend, understand that this is not an ordinary name. God has approved this name to unlock divine authority on behalf of believers. That is why even the devil will tremble when you mention this name (Luke 10:17). Sickness and pains cannot wait for this name. Failure and frustration cannot wait for you with this name in your mouth. In any embarrassing confrontation, just declare the name of Jesus. And you will see the host of God responding rapidly to you to help you. This is your key to all doors. This is the drawer of your authority in God. It is the strength of your victory. So, declare it now and always for your victory.

PRAYER: LORD, I THANK YOU THAT I AM ORDAINED WITH AUTHORITY IN YOUR NAME.

“HE WHO KNOW NOT THE MYSTERIES BEHIND THE NAME MAY NOT ENJOY THE BENEFIT IN IT
