MEDITATION

MEDITATION Psalm 1:1-6 Devotional:- “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night..” (v.2) NKJV      God’s word describes someone blessed because he/she meditates on the word of God, day and night. How can this be? The word of God is the source of inspiration that strengthens us to perform (John 1:1-3). The Bible told us that God is a spirit; therefore, meditating on the word of God is drawing on the strength of the spirit (John 6:63).

NEW LIFE

NEW LIFE

John 6:53-58
Devotional:- “Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you” (V. 53) NKJV

Many believers today, though saved into the supernatural realm of God, are yet ordinary people. This is because they are ignorant of their new nature in Christ. This is also because we are not partaking of the flesh and the body of Christ with revelation.

The scripture we read today is an event during which Jesus gave the teaching of the mysteries of communion to the people, but they could not understand it. They would rather take offense and ridicule the teaching of Jesus. But these are mysteries in Christ for the new life in a believer.

In the scripture, Jesus said that unless a person eats His body and drinks His blood, he will not have eternal life. But the Bible says we already have eternal life at salvation (John 3:16). Even though eternal life is given at our salvation, the new life in Christ makes us enjoy the heavenly life right here on earth. The bread and wines we often take during communion service symbolize the body and blood of Jesus. Until you make yourself a partaker of the communion table, you may not experience the new life here on earth.

As a regular partaker of the communion table, it enrolls you among the kings and priests (Revelations 5:10). It enlists you among the heirs of God (Galatians 4:7). It makes you part of the touch-not group (Psalm 105:15; Zechariah 2:8). For it shall be a mark of Passover on your life (Exodus 12:13). It makes you peculiar among others (1 Peter 2:9). It renews the new life to your spirit, mind, and body. It gives you sustaining strength and maintains your new life in Christ. So, it will be impossible for you to be defeated or fail. And your success and victory shall be guaranteed.

PRAYER: LORD, GRANT ME AN EXPERIENCE OF A NEW LIFE IN CHRIST.
