  THE HEART OF WORSHIP Romans 6:1-14 Devotional:- “And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God” (V. 13) Since worship is our first purpose on earth we need to know that worship will not be worship if we don’t surrender to God. So, surrendering is the heart of worship. In our world today, surrender sound negative. It could mean to give up or losing or admit your defeat. But it is giving ourselves to God not out of fear or necessity but in love (1 John 4:9-19). Three things often attempt to block our mind from total surrendering to God, fear, pride and confusion. As kingdom citizen, please know it that you must learn to trust God. A woman will not be able to surrender to her husband if she does not trust him and so also you to God. Psalms 139:13-18
Devotional:- “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well” (V. 14) NKJV

    At creation, God the master designer does not intend to create men of ordinary destiny. He rather wants to bring about such great variation to creation for unusual harmony and much beauty. That is why humanity is beautiful, both in looks and uniqueness.

It is always the enemy's deception to make man feel that nothing is special about him. This is because he knows that the strength and beauty of every creature is in the awareness of his/her uniqueness. So, he does everything to make us feel uncomfortable. And many children of God under the influence of this deception treat themselves commonly.

The Psalmist made a great discovery in the scripture we read today. This brought him to the light of his uniqueness. Friend, you are a good design by a great designer. Since you became a new man or woman in Christ Jesus, we are not to live in the lies of the devil again but in the truth of the word of God. The Bible refers to you as special (1 Peter 2:9). Do you know that everything about you is special? Do you know that no one else in the world even among your relations is like you? It is when you allow the light of this truth to dawn on you, that you will be able to create a special life for yourself.

Stop imitating anyone. You are good enough as you are. There may be some weakness in your life now, but the word of God is changing you for the better. You need to know that your glory and beauty are embedded in your uniqueness. You can only make it by being yourself. Imitation will limit your ability. Accept the truth of the word today that says you are fearfully and beautifully made. And the glory and honour peculiar to your creation will start to manifest.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO LOVE THE UNIQUENESS IN MYSELF.

“SELF ACCEPTABILITY IS THE MOTHER OF ALL SPECIAL ASCENSION IN LIFE.”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
