ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

FEAR

FEAR

Scripture Reading: Numbers 13:26-33
Devotional:- There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight" (v.33) NKJV

One of the instruments that destroy the strength of man is fear. Man will be afraid when he has no clue of the forces confronting him. Or when he has wrong information about the forces confronting him. Anyone can be afraid when he/she is intimidated by the forces against (2 Chronicles 32:10-15). Anyone will surely be afraid when he/she look down on him/herself and rate the enemy to be greater.

This was the case of the children of Israel. They rated the Anak bigger than themselves. They do not see the greatness of the God with them who does many wonders in Egypt to set them free: Who parted the Red Sea, The God who conquer the whole army of Egypt in the sea. They forget how He gave them food and meat for 40 years. They do not remember the testimony of God using just 318 armies in the house of Abraham to defeat a whole King and his troupe (Genesis 14:5-14). They became afraid and could not enter their promise land.

Friend, the great I am is in you (1 John 4:4). Stop been afraid of what is confronting you. The truth is that you are bigger than that need or challenge. Knowing your God will restore your strength. And you will arise and win. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to see you above my challenge always.

“YOUR EMOTION WILL KEEP BEEN AT THE MERCY OF WHAT YOU BELIEVE”
