But if any man has wisdom, he will discover that all the laws of God are for our good. When we realise this, it helps us to find wisdom in obeying God and be willing to do His will. One of the things we learn from God is not to be boastful. Humility is the practice of the mature. Many today have entered into many traps in life because they are boastful. Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 2:3-11
Devotional:- “lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices” (v. 11) NKJV

Some people always think they can handle the devil without God. I always tell people not to try it. He is far wiser. Your strength for victory is mainly in God. (Philippians 4:13). A major reason we should have nothing to do with him is that he operates with tricks and gimmicks. The devil always tries to come into issues in a subtle way. It was through this he was able to get Eve

Please, understand that you are made and wired to focus and concentrate before you can achieve anything. In the course of focusing, the devil is looking for how to subtly come in to let you slip out of the will of God. The appeal of Potiphar’s wife came as an executive and high status pleasure of sin. But Joseph knew it was the devil and he flee (Genesis 39:6-15). The devil didn’t come through co-staff but through the Chief Executive Officer. Some other people would have felt, you see, she is my director and there is nothing I can do. But Joseph understood the tricks of the devil and he flee.

Friend, watch out for those little carelessness. The devil can always use it to steal, kill or destroy. Don't use long spoon for the devil (1 Timothy 6:11). Then you will keep your strength in God. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make me to be wiser than the tricks of the devil.
