  LIFTING Psalms 75:1-10 Devotional:- “But God is the judge. He putteth down one and setteth up another.” (V. 7) KJV It is part of God’s act of love to lift up his own people. If you have a privilege be in an office, there is every tendency that you will want use your office to help and lift the people you love, so also is God. He is highly exalted. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the creator of heaven and earth. The bible calls Him the judge, in other word, He rules and decides the case of everyone in heaven and earth. So he is willing to lift you up as the one He loves. In the sovereignty of God, I have seen God demonstrating His love by lifting the unworthy. People like Joseph, David, Solomon, Paul the apostle and a host of others. If you as a child of God enjoy a status now it is part of His good gesture to you. And whatever level you are now, do not be discouraged, for He is still taking you higher. He took Joseph from the prison to the palace (Genesis 41:...

DISOBEDIENCE 

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 1:11-20
Devotional: - But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword"; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken” (v. 20) NKJV


    One of the factors that can destroy the strength of anyone is disobedience to God. The reason why people easily disobey God is because they can not understand the ways of God. Such only depend on the physical to determine their actions. But the way of God is not mostly physical.

This is the reason the children of God need to know their God. He is not a physical God. You cannot understand the way of God by listening to the argument of your unbelieving friends. He cannot be revealed to you in your quest for Ph.D. You cannot calculate God in your brain. He cannot be found in the way of argument. His word reveals Him and His spirit helps us to understand Him.

A natural man will always see the ways of God unreasonable, so, he will always disobey the Lord (1Samuel 15:22-23). What you don't understand, you cannot jump into it any how. This is the reason people disobey the Lord. Disobedience will always remove the strength of God from the life of anyone. You cannot see the forces of God with your physical eye. That is why you must learn to obey God by faith (Romans 1:17). Only wise people obey God (Matthew 7:24). Choose the way of obedience to God and you will keep winning (Leviticus 26:6-8). Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace of continuous obedience.

“ONLY OBEDIENCE CAN EMPLOY THE STRENGTH OF THE SUPERNATURAL”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
