VALUE YOURSELF 1 Peter 2:1-10  Devotional:- “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (V. 9) NKJV If anyone is going to enjoy the love of God, he must see himself as lovely. One of the ways for someone to see themselves as lovely is by valuing themselves. You need to know that of all the creatures of God, not only on earth but also in heaven, you are the most special. According to the word of God, there is no other creature that is as valuable as you are. You are the reason for the labour of the devil (1 Peter 5:8). You are the envy of the demons. You are the envy of the angels. A great percentage of the angels are serving the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). The scripture we read today calls you a chosen one. That is, among the multitude, God selected you out for Himself. You are a royal priesthood, that is, you are a kingly priest...

SUBMISSION 

Scripture Reading: Matthew 8:5-13
Devotional: -“For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it." (V. 9) NKJV


     There is a strong need for people in this generation to understand the strength in submission. When God ask the women to submit to their husbands, it is a way to empower them in the house. Anyone you are submitting to will back you up. You enjoy the delegated authority of the one you submit to. You have the privilege to be supervised by the one you submit to and that will help you to avoid pitfall. It makes you command authority over people under you.

The centurion said to Jesus, He only needs to speak a word for his servant to be healed. This is because he understands the power of submission. The man explain in verse 9 “I am a man under authority, so, I command authority” check anyone under no authority, such will also lack authority.

Friend, consciously submit to a superior. Women submit to husbands and then your children will submit to you. Talk about your senior as important, then you will become important. Don't let the outbreak of knowledge make you proud, so that you will not lose your authority. Submit to a church under a leader, even the devil will not be able to withstand you. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace of submission.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
