ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

TIMEOUT FOR WEAKNESSES

TIMEOUT FOR WEAKNESSES

Scripture Reading: Nehemiah 4:7-14
Devotional:- “Then Judah said, "The strength of the laborers is failing, and there is so much rubbish that we are not able to build the wall." (V 10) NKJV

In this challenging time, the weak will suffer. So, you cannot afford to be weak. The devices of the devil are so terrible now and only the strong can be free. Those who enjoy being weak Christian because of the enjoyment of the world are in great time of agony on every side.

As the people of God were rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem, the people started getting weary by the discouragement of the enemy. By so doing, impossibility was setting into their vision to build. Situations were becoming overwhelming for them. The same is happen today. Many are getting so weak. The devil is confronting people's health, family and businesses. The devil is using some in the Church in the ministry of Sanballat and Tobiah (Nehemiah 4:1-3). Don’t be part of those who do this to the Church of Jesus (Matthew 36-37).

It is a sign of weaknesses if anything anyone says get at us. All that they were saying to Jesus, He did not answer (Matthew 27:12). If anyone have decided to go to hell you don’t have to follow them. That is why you cannot afford to be weak at this time. You cannot afford to choose failure. You cannot afford to accept defeat. Remember you are born of a victorious God (1 John 5:4). Remember, Jesus paid the prize of your victory (John 16:33). Remember the devil has been defeated for you (Colossians 2:15). So, rise up and be strong. You are winning in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace to rise in new strength.

“CHOOSE TO BE STRONG, FOR THE WEAK WILL BE GETTING WEAKER”
