THANK HIM FOR ALL

THANK HIM FOR ALL Zechariah 4:1-10 Devotional:- “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; His hands shall also finish it and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you” (V. 9) KJV In such a season as this, one of the weapons of the devil to steal the joy of many is discouragement. The enemy will make them see that God has not been good to them. He will make us to think of what God has not done, and not what He has done. He will make us compare ourselves to others and so one will see other people as better.   God can provide all that you need, and He is not mindful or unfaithful to you. He gave you the one you have today, but all that is good for your life. He will also give you if you can wait on Him by faith. Such time like this should challenge us to become better to do better. Every time you are not happy with your current situation, just know that a change is about to take place in your life. It is now you who will determine ...

CLOSE RELATIONSHIP

CLOSE RELATIONSHIP

Scripture Reading: Luke 5: 12-16
Devotional: “So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed” (v. 16) NKJV

For anyone to gain strength in God, such must choose to have close relationship with God. Some people always want to withdraw from the presence of God. They feel it will make them to be over spiritual and no more social. But the truth is that they cannot be strong in the Lord. Yes, they will be socially relevant and even have some money. But in the days of challenges, they will not be able to stand (Proverbs 24:10).

It is said about Jesus that He often withdrew into the wilderness to pray. It was not that He does not want to have time of fun and enjoy himself. But there is time for everything. This one must be given a priority. If not, He will not be able to manifest the power of God or fulfill His destiny.

Friend, if you will be strong in the Lord, you need a close and continued relationship with God (Psalms 119:164; Mark 1:35). That is the price of strength in God (Proverbs 13:20). Always traveling on Sunday morning, busy during prayer time or no personal time with God will make anyone a weak prey of the devil. Arise and be strong. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to give up worldliness to be strong in you.

“YOU CANNOT BE STRONG IN THE WAY OF THE WORLD AND BE STRONG IN GOD”
