DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. FULFILLING DESTINY

FULFILLING DESTINY

Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 17:31-40
Devotional:- “Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God." (v. 36) NKJV

It's important you realize that you are in this world to carry out an assignment for God. That is your purpose. The only people who are counted successful in this world by God are those who fulfill their purpose. For you to be able to fulfill your purpose on earth, you must be very strong. This is because; your purpose is a part of divine agenda in fulfilling the plan of God. Though, the devil will do everything to stop your purpose but you must become unstoppable.

For you to be able to fulfill your purpose, you must have a firm standing in your God. Everything around David wanted to stop him, even the king. But David became stronger than all of them. He kept declaring that God will help me. Bringing Goliath down was one of his first destiny assignment. You observed that David did not face Goliath with real or serious physical weapon. He trusted in the Lord, his God (Psalms 20:6-8).

Friend, fulfilling your destiny demand that you are strong in the Lord. Surely, the enemy will rise (Isaiah 54:15). There will be many discouraging factors. Yet, the God who helped David is still alive. Take it as a life project to be strong in the Lord by meditatively studying the word of God and creating time to be with God in prayers. Then, your destiny shall be fulfilled. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, reveal to me the way of strength
