  CHILDREN OF GOD I John 3:1-3  Devotional:- “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him” (V.1) NKJV One of the unique things on earth is that, each one belongs to one family or the other. Some are from a great family, their name sounds great, and others are from a family that is not well-known. The truth is that, the lineage each of us belongs to, sometimes speaks and shows in our live. Those who are seen as children of great people in the world are often counted as privileged. But the scripture we read today is aimed at making you appreciate the privilege of being a child of God. It doesn’t matter whether you are born into a great family on earth or not. God has decided to bestow His love on you by calling you His child (Galatians 4:7). This is the greatest family in heaven and earth. The moment you are born again, you are born of God (John 1:12). REGAINING YOUR LOSS 

Luke 5:1-8
Devotional:- “But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net."”  (V. 5) NKJV

    Sometimes in life, we put so much effort into our work. We sometimes invest so much money into a business expecting a substantial dividend, but we eventually find everything turns out to be a loss. Some people have experienced a kind of loss that has broken their courage to pursue success in life.

In the scripture today, Peter and his friends were labouring and losing. As professional fishermen, they spent all night looking for fish and could not find one. Who knows if the net they were using was rented; that would have amounted to a great loss. But Peter acted in the wisdom that restored their loss. He obeyed the voice of God and they had their loss restored.

Begin to allow God to direct your steps too. Don’t set out each day without asking God where to turn to. God’s word says the labour of the fools wearies them for they do not know how to go to the city (Ecclesiastes 10:15). If you allow God to start leading you; your story shall soon change. God shall restore all your losses in life. You will yet celebrate. God said He would restore the years locusts have eaten in your life (Joel 2:25-27). This is your year indeed.

PRAYER: LORD, STRENGTHEN ME TO SEE THE RESTORATION OF ALL MY LOSSES.

“A MAN IS BLESSED BY DECLARATION BUT WEALTH IS GATHERED BY WISDOM”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
