Sometimes our challenges make us lose focus on God. We need to realise that this is the trick of the devil. He only wants to smartly disconnect us from our source. And a river that is disconnected from its source will soon dry up.   Abraham was looking for his own way to make things happen in his life and started losing focus on God by getting another wife to fulfil the promise of God. GO IN THIS MIGHT

GO IN THIS MIGHT

Judges 6:11-24
Devotional:- “Then the LORD turned to him and said, "Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?" (V14) NKJV

It is the strategy of the enemy to make us feel we are not adequate. Since he desires to see us fail, he always tries to give us the wrong information. When we pass through trying times, the devil does all things to make us feel God has left us and that we cannot make it. He does many things to break our hearts and make us weak in the Spirit, but you must not allow him to win over you.

Gideon was destined by God as a great leader and deliverer of God’s people. At the time he was to rise into his destiny, God sent His angel to him. When the angel came and announced his destiny to him, his mind could not measure up to the enormity of the assignment given especially when he considered his background. He saw himself as too small for what God said to him. He couldn't imagine the might the angel was talking about and he was doubtful. It took God’s grace for him not to miss his destiny.

You also must be careful not to allow your situation to demoralize you. The greatness God created you with is always there. Don’t block your way with doubt; reassure yourself always “l am created to make it” and by so doing you will be able to retain your creativity and soundness of mind (Philippians 4:13). When your time of announcement comes, you will fit into your glory. Stop looking down on your gift; it is enough for your greatness.

DECLARATION: I AM CREATED TO MAKE IT AND I SHALL MAKE IT.
