HE NEVER REJECTS YOU

HE NEVER REJECTS YOU John 6:24-40  Devotional:- “All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]” (V 37) AMPC Sometimes we imagine God in our mind with the understanding and the likeness of men. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject. He is never interested in the death of a sinner but that he repents and be saved (Ezekiel 18:23). This is part...

HAVING PEACE

HAVING PEACE

Isaiah 48:12-22

“Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea” (V.18) NKJV

The world today is fast losing grip of peace. So many terrible things have become instrumental to the destruction of the peace of the world. Even media news has become a factor that reduces peace. So many wicked acts are carried out regularly and most men have no peace in their lives. With all the security in the world today, men still lack peace. The development of technology should have reduced insecurity but it is rather multiplying the panic.

For anyone to enjoy peace, he must identify the source of peace and that is Jesus Christ. He is called the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). We also need to understand the channel of peace, and that is obedience to the instructions of God. When a man is disobedient to God, he will surely lose his peace. That is why you must be obedient to all instructions of God. Another factor of peace is trusting in the Lord. That is, totally putting your hope in the working power of God and His promises as you do your work. If you also want peace, learn to sow peace. Whatsoever you sow, you shall reap. Seek peace with all men (Heb. 12:14) and your life will start to enjoy the peace of God. Learn to totally depend on God. He is able to keep you to the end and your life shall be peaceful.

PRAYER: LORD, LET YOUR PEACE REIGN IN MY LIFE.

“PEACE IS A PRODUCT OF CONFIDENCE IN THE GOD OF PEACE”
