HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

OVERCOMING THE FORCES

OVERCOMING THE FORCES

2 Samuel 23:8-10
Devotional:- “He arose and attacked the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand stuck to the sword. The LORD brought about a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to plunder” (V. 10) NKJV

We are in a world of battle and you must be willing to face the fight if you are one of the winners. Jesus did not promise us a battle-free life and the way out will not be to back out. He that backs out of battle accepts defeat. God’s word says God will not allow temptation that is more than us to happen to us. That is why God never expects us to lose in life’s battle. He has kept in you what is more than what you are facing and potentials greater than your challenges (1 John 4:4).

In the scripture today is the catalogue of David’s mighty men and what they did. Eleazar the son of Dodo is one of them. In the record of the reign of David, he never lost any battle and these are the men that God used for him. When Israelites were facing the Philistines, they retreated from the face of their enemy, but Eleazar stood strong and defended the city until his hand and sword could not separate. That day, he got the victory for his nation.

Friend, your battles are not more than you. You need to rise and face them. Be it academic; business; family; finance or spiritual battle, never withdraw. He who withdraws will not win. Don’t forget that greater is He that is in you. Your problems cannot see your end; you will see its end. Don’t bother about the current situation; all shall change for glory because this battle has been fixed. You must win for Jesus is in you. Since Jesus has won the battle for you, you only need to carry a winner’s mentality because the victorious Jesus is in you (John 16:33). That is why it is written whatever is born of God overcomes the world (1 John 5:4). That is talking about you. Keep acting on God’s instruction by faith and you will win.

PRAYER: LORD, I WILL SEE THE END OF MY CHALLENGES.

“HE THAT RUNS FROM BATTLE LOSES THE BATTLE”
