PROTECT YOUR HEART

Proverbs 4:20-27
Devotional:- “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (V. 23) NLT

Everyone is born with a strength capable of rising to greatness. In every growing child is a seed of greatness. It is this strength that makes the youth so creative and energetic. That is why each young person looks at the future with great hope. The enemy tries to destroy this strength. As strong as many started in life, not many could strike the chord of success because their strength was destroyed.

Challenges and discouragement are what destroy strength. You must, therefore, be very careful not to allow your heart to be discouraged or frustrated. You are strong when you are creative and hopeful in your ability, but when frustrations and discouragement regularly set in, such will gradually gets weary.

God’s word teaches us to guide our hearts will all diligence. It is the most important thing to your life and success after God. This is because the state of your heart determines the course of your life. It determines how far you will be able to go in life. The following factors will help you: You need a mentor. This is someone you can relay yourself to when you feel down. Keep growing a heart of faith in God and your vision. This is by studying the word of God daily (Joshua 1:8). Never stop reading books. This will keep you motivated. Never give up on your vision. Learn financial literacy and master the act of building financial freedom. Always encourage yourself in God, no matter what the case may be. Believe that you will make it at last. Refuse to live in sorrow and you will be able to retain the strength of God in you.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO KEEP MY HEART FROM SORROW.
